DHAULADHAR AUTOCROSS - MOTORSPORT & RACING WORKSHOP

Main aim to organise this friendly event is to create motorsport awareness to the new riders of the area as there are number of rash driving & accident cases in the specific area. Motorsport Workshop is compulsory for all new riders regarding the motorsport carrer and FMSCI regulations & rules.

What is autocross?
It is an ideal discipline for novices looking to get their first taste of competitive motorsport. An Autocross is race against the clock ( as opposed to wheel – to wheel ) around a unique course usually taking place on ground, airport runways , parking lots or any large Paved area. There are usually heats of three or four laps, and and at least two timed runs, the best of which counts towards the results. While it is not a racing discipline there may be multiple cars & bikes on the course at any one time, depending on course space and conditions by the organiser. Competing is against the clock, and the quickest person wins. There are different classes, which are determined by engine size. Bikes & Cars can also be double driven, so you can team up with friends or family and help reduce the cost of competing. As an entry-level form of motorsport that focuses on driver skill and vehicle control, almost any Vehicle can be entered into competition. All that is required to enter an event is a valid driver ‘s licence and registration of the vehicle. Entry fees are also the lowest of any motorsports, making it a great discipline to get starred into the motorsports.
